What is a Tripartite Board?
At Combined Community Action, our Tripartite Board of Directors plays a vital role in ensuring our programs remain community-driven, responsive, and effective. This unique structure—required for all Community Action Agencies—brings together representatives from three distinct sectors:
-
Public Sector: Elected officials or their appointees who bring insights into local government priorities and policies.
-
Private Sector: Business and community leaders who offer expertise, resources, and connections to drive sustainable impact.
-
Low-Income Sector: Individuals who represent the low-income communities we serve, ensuring that the voices of those most affected guide our mission and services.
By balancing these perspectives, the Tripartite Board helps us stay accountable, equitable, and aligned with the real needs of our Central Texas communities.
