Community Services Block Grant
Used to assist in the
operation of other programs, which do not provide enough
administrative money to operate and to assist
individuals who fall through the cracks of other
programs.
Weatherization Assistance
Provides energy
conservation measures to a home to reduce the energy
usage and lower utility bills.
Energy Assistance
Payment of utility bills to
prevent disconnection. Program is divided into four
components of assistance; energy crisis,
elderly/disabled, heating/cooling and co-payment.
Housing
CCA serves as the local operator for Section
8. CCA operates affordable housing with the rental of 18
single family units owned by CCA. Fourteen of these
units were purchased and rehabbed with HOME money and
the other four were new construction with HOME money.
Senior Nutrition
Provision of hot noon meals, 5
days a week to 20 nutrition sites for senior citizens
60+ years of age. Meals are provided at home and in a
congregate setting.
