Weatherization is a program to help reduce energy consumption by making your home more energy efficient. The program is not a renovation program; therefore, the program does not address cosmetic improvements or improvements which do not directly affect the heating and cooling of your home.

By reducing the amount of electricity or gas you use, you will save yourself money. The program limits the amount of money that can be spent on a home for weatherization improvements. Weatherization cost and the weatherization completed on the home will vary based on the condition of the home. An assessment will be made of the home to identify the location of cracks, holes and spaces where air escapes.

You must be income eligible to receive this service. Contact Weatherization Combined Community Action Weatherization program serves the following counties: Lee, Fayette, Hays, Bastrop, Blanco, Colorado, Ft. Bend, Austin, and Caldwell.
