Homemaker Services
Funding
The
Homemaker program receives partial federal funding
allotted by the Older American's Act to the Texas
Department of Aging and the Area Agency on Aging of the
Capital Area. Formal requests are made to the
cities and counties in the five county area to be
included in their budgets. The majority of the
cities and counties support the program. The
agency submits grant applications to the appropriate
funding resources during the year. Annual requests
are made to United Way and LCRA Employee organizations.
CCA has
available an affordable private-pay in-home assistance.
Services are available short-term or long-term.
Cost varies according to individual needs and care plan.
This program relieves clients and families privately, in
that we screen, train and monitor other needs.
Scheduling difficulties are handled by the Program
Director, leaving the client and families worry free.
